AI Tools Lab
Hands-on with the tools people actually use.
One practical lesson for each assistant, built around real work: a draft, a summary, an email and a decision. Same habit every time — check the answer before you trust it.
RDMI is independent and not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Microsoft or Anthropic. Practical labs require tools; each has its own plans, limits and age requirements.
Starter files use fictional data. Use a laptop or desktop for tool labs. External tools have their own account and usage limits. Mentor approval requires actual deliverables and tests; an evidence link alone does not establish quality.

Try it right here
Your first skill? Knowing what not to trust.
AI can write confidently and still invent details. A useful learner knows how to spot the difference.
01
Read the source. Start with what you actually know.
02
Spot the gap. Find unsupported promises and missing facts.
03
Make it better. Write a clearer, more careful answer.
Fictional notes: a library reading workshop is on 24 October, 10 am–12 noon; 20 seats; registration is free; bring a notebook. Contact details and the registration link are missing. Write a short invitation and a list of missing information.

Small steps, useful progress
From your first question to work worth sharing.
No application. No entrance test. Start a published lesson today and build at your own pace.
1
Choose a path
Begin with a useful goal. No coding experience is needed for the starter exercises.
2
Learn by doing
Read the idea, inspect the sample and write your own response to a fictional brief.
3
Check your work
Pass the knowledge question and complete the self-review checklist. Download your record.
4
Bring it together
With an account, finish a path’s lessons and submit a project explaining your output and checks.
5
Earn your certificate
A mentor approves your project or requests changes. Finish every lesson, get each path project approved and pass the level test to claim your RDMI certificate.
Clear about what “complete” means.
Lesson work is self-assessed and a knowledge check does not grade your writing. Projects are reviewed by an RDMI mentor. A level certificate confirms you finished that level’s lessons and mentor-approved projects, and passed the level test. It is not an accredited qualification or a job guarantee.

Talent is spread across India. Our mission is to help one million Indians build practical AI skills — across campuses, workplaces, cities and small towns.
We’re starting with access, useful practice and human judgment. People who can ask better questions, check information and turn ideas into carefully considered work.
Saved progress, mentor review, level certificates, live-session links and profile data controls are built. Email and mobile delivery checks are the next release step.

Levels, the full 12-module syllabus, tools you’ll master, what you’ll build and the certificate — ready to send to a student, parent, manager or college.
All published lessons and starter files are free. Introductory exercises can be completed in the browser. Practical labs require external tools, whose accounts, age requirements, usage limits and possible costs vary. Check access before starting.
Do I need coding experience or a special device?
No coding experience is needed for the introductory lessons. Read lessons on a phone, tablet or computer; use a laptop or desktop to build spreadsheets, videos, automations and apps in the practical labs.
How much time should I allow?
The published catalog suggests about 1100 minutes of lesson practice in total. Each lesson has its own time guide. Take longer when you need to; projects and additional practice are extra.
Can I learn in Hindi?
Yes. The lesson explanations, tasks, prompts, questions and checklists are available in English and Hindi. Switch language in the learning workspace.
Do I have to create an account?
No. Try every public lesson as a guest; guest work stays in this browser. A free account (for learners aged 18 or over) saves progress across devices and unlocks projects, level tests, live-class links and certificates. Guest lesson materials are open without an account; external tools have their own age requirements.
How do mobile and email OTP sign-in work?
Choose an available method on the sign-in screen. Enter your Indian mobile number or email, request a six-digit verification code and enter it directly on the website. Never share that code. You can add a second verified contact from your profile when the method is available.
Who checks my work?
Lesson checklists are your own assessment; the knowledge question checks only your selected answer. After finishing a path, account holders submit a project that an RDMI mentor reviews — they inspect the deliverable, tests, privacy and explanation, record a five-part rubric and approve it or request changes with written feedback. Mentors may use AI (Claude) to draft feedback, but a mentor edits and approves every message you receive. No turnaround time is guaranteed.
Will this help me get a job?
The programme is built around skills employers are asking for — using AI to write, analyse data in Excel, build presentations, automate workflows and ship websites and apps with AI agents. You finish with portfolio projects, mentor feedback and a verifiable certificate you can add to your CV and LinkedIn. RDMI does not offer placement or guarantee a job or income; your results depend on the work you put in and the roles you apply for.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Earn an RDMI Certificate of Completion for each level: finish every lesson in the level, pass the short level test and have each path’s project approved by a mentor. Every certificate has a verification code anyone can check online. It is not an accredited qualification, and the programme does not offer placement, paid work or an employment guarantee.
Can I show my work to employers?
Yes. Turn on your public portfolio in Profile & security to share your certificates and mentor-approved projects with one link, and add each certificate to LinkedIn from its verification page. Your portfolio stays private until you switch it on.
What are the live sessions?
Online sessions run by the RDMI team, such as walkthroughs and practice clinics. Upcoming dates appear on this page and in your dashboard; joining links are shown to signed-in learners. Sessions are optional and the schedule can change.
Which AI tools will I practise with?
The AI Tools Lab covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Claude. The introductory exercises include samples. The eight practical labs require actual work in external tools and an evidence link. RDMI is independent and not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Microsoft or Anthropic; each tool has its own plans, limits and age requirements.
Will I learn Claude Code, Codex and AI agents?
Yes. The Builder level teaches you to brief coding agents such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, review the changes they make, and connect agents to tools safely using MCP connectors. Lessons use realistic fictional projects you complete in the browser; to run the agents themselves you use the tools on your own device under their own plans and terms. The site does not run agents or deploy software for you.
What information should I use in exercises?
Use the supplied fictional scenarios. Do not include passwords, OTPs, identity documents or private customer information. Check facts and remove identifying details before using any external AI tool.
How can I control my learning data?
Download guest work before clearing browser storage. Account holders can export their account data, sign out of all sessions and delete their account from Profile & security. See the privacy notice for details about application data and provider retention.
Has RDMI already trained one million people?
No. One million AI-skilled Indians is the initiative’s mission. It is not an achieved learner count or a claim about professional competence.
